Common Account Questions

Sometimes we get questions about accessing your account on our sites.
This can often occur when you have purchased a service a while ago and come back to accessing a course or wanting to book a coaching service or upload a document for review.

Here are some helpful hints about accessing your services.

1. Check your original emails #

When you purchase a service you will be automatically emailed instructions about accessing your account and services.  But you may have deleted these emails.

2. Check your spam folder #

One thing to make sure of is that you are ensuring that any emails from @advancemed.com.au are not making their way into your spam folder.

3. Your course may be on a separate site #

We operate Advancemed across a number of subdomains.

The main reason for this is to help with the performance of our sites to ensure that you can for e.g. accessing our courses easily and that these load quickly on your device.

This means that you may have accounts on more than one of these subdomains.

If you bought a coaching service or a CV redo or other document review service, or books, or package this will generally have been purchased on our main services site which is https://shop.advancemed.com.au

If you have recently bought a course you should have access to it on this site as well.

However, if you bought a course in the past, this will generally have been bought at our Learning Management Systems site which is https://courses.advancemed.com.au.

You will generally have the same username (email) for this site as well as our main site. But will have different passwords.

Should you wish to upgrade your access to the course on the main site. First login to check (you may already have access). If not. please contact us at courses@advancemed.com.au.

4. Can’t Remember Your Password? #

You can easily reset your password for either our shop or courses site by clicking on the “Forgot Your Password?” link. Remember your password will be different for each of the two sites.

5. Why isn’t my account the same for both sites? #

This is a very good question. We actually tried a solution where you can have the same account and password synchronised across sites.

Unfortunately, the solution did not work very well and we had lots of problems with users being unable to access one or both of their accounts. So we disabled this solution.

As mentioned previously we are now working towards hosting our courses on the same site where you purchase our other services.
